My husband and I spent the on the canaveral princess all day fishing. We were celebrating my 60th birthday. We had a great time even though we only caught 1 lane snapper that we could keep. The boat is clean the crew are great. I highly recommend this charter. This was our 4th time on this boat.

This was a surprise birthday present to me from my wife after I happened to mention that my late father and I would take day trip all the time back home in CA when I was little. Very sweet of her to get for me, and we absolutely LOVED the entire experience. The staff and crew are so friendly and kind. Their cook is hilarious, and very professional when asked innocent questions regarding options. The deckhands were very helpful in giving us any extra coaching or assistance in an effort to see us catch something. We went with the half day option and had dozens of nibbles, but our inexperience led to losing all but one apiece of the little red snappers that spent the day stealing our bait like the little ninjas they are. I encourage anyone wanting a fun day on the water to try this place out, but caution you to bring your own equipment if possible because the rigs available as part of the ticket price are not as easy to use for a beginner (like my wife). All things being equal, this was well worth the price and we had a blast even if we only officially caught one fish apiece. Watching others bringing in some monsters and a few of those monsters being snatched up by the patrolling sharks made for a fun day for us. 10/10 going again!

Booked this trip on June 5th while vacationing in Cocoa Beach. I found a really good groupon rate for the half day on the Orlando Princess. I have been on several charters and private trips, but was just hoping to have a good outing with my family. The fishing trip turned into just that and so much more! I will say this is by far my favorite fishing charter that I have been on to date..

The crew on board the ship were all great. Xavier, Barney and Evan all worked hard and were extremely pleasant. Xavier and Barney stayed busy and did an excellent job making sure everyone had a bait in the water as much as possible. Even when about a dozen lines managed to get tangled up due to some fish and unexperienced anglers. Those guys were amazing. Evan was a delight in the cabin preparing meals and when everyone was fishing, he would jump in and assist the other crew members. If you meet him, you can tell he is great guy that always has a smile on his face.

I can't say it enough how amazing these people were. I will definitely book with them again. The half day tour consisted of an hour and half boat ride out and back. about 10 minutes between each of the 3-4 spots we fished. We went out to the furthest point and worked our way back towards the shore which allowed for about 3 hours of fishing.

My first fish was a large shark, I believe it was a sandbar shark? Second fish was a red snapper, but red snapper wasn't in season so we had to release it. My family and I ended up bringing another red snapper on board and about fifteen sharp-nosed sharks.

Most everyone on board were catching the sharp-nosed sharks. A fairly large cobia was caught and a sea bass also.

Had an AMAZING experience on the full day excursion. The staff is so nice and great sense of humor. Mike is the cook and does a really great job keeping it all together. We went for my boyfriend's birthday and it did not disappoint. People around us caught all kinds of fish and even 2 HUGE sharks, like 6 ft and longer. (Of course were released) We caught several fish too that we got to keep. Really had a great time. Thank you

This was an amazing experience! It was my first time out to the ocean. The crew was very accommodating. The spot where we stopped was mainly full of baby shark nothing really big enough to keep. Definitely not an expert it could have just been off season... They will rehook your line if it snaps and pull the shark in the boat as soon as you get it close enough for them. I think the other options ( I did nighttime shark) might offer a better catch, and I can't wait to try one of those options next trip. All-around great experience and like I said I can't give them enough praise for accommodating for the lack of my inexperience all the way up to the experienced fisherman they assisted.

It was our anniversary and we wanted something different, so night shark fishing it was. Didn't catch anything but god what a good time. The 2 young men that were deck hands were amazing and super professional and were there if needed at any time. This is our 3 time on this boat and have never been disappointed. Had a great time. The crew was great. The captain spoke to us ahead and said the fishing lately hasn't been very good. But over all we landed 20 keepers for the boat and probably 30+ that we couldn't keep. Red Snapper out of season. Otherwise we would have had a great catch. I will charter with them again.

My wife, 5 kids, and I took the full day fishing and we were not disappointed! The fish weren't really biting that day, but our chef, Smiley, the deck hands, Alex and Xavier (sp?), and the captain were all amazing. Our captain was fishing and he got a King Macarel on the hook then let one of my daughters reel him in. The deck hands were letting my other kids cut chum and throw it in the water. Just an absolutely amazing crew and the best part is, my kids had fun even with very little fish biting. Good amazing time and will be going again in the future.
